Painting has been a source of healing and discovery, even as a doctor. It has allowed me to find solace during difficult times, like being away from my country and career. It has helped me discover new things about myself and develop new skills. Regarding my creative process, I usually draw inspiration from my photographs, finding beauty in the ordinary and choosing what speaks to me. I aim to convey my vision to the viewer through my paintings, inviting them to imagine and complete the picture. Oil is the medium with which I feel most comfortable, and I prefer canvas and wood for support. Working with a wide palette of colors, I bring my paintings to life. Although I appreciate many expressions of art history, I am drawn to realism. The challenge of capturing the surrounding world motivates and captivates me, bringing a sense of peace, order, and security within myself. I believe that every painter recreates their universe, the one from within. That is why my journeys, learnings, acceptances, and adaptations, in short, my entire world beats in my paintings.
